Achensee Golf Club

The Golf- und Landclub Achensee is the oldest golf club in Tyrol. Nestled between the Karwendel mountains and Lake Achensee, this jewel of a golf course is located 950 meters above sea level. The Golf- und Landclub Achensee is not only the oldest golf club in Tyrol, but is also one of the first three clubs in Austria. The perfect terrain structure and the wonderful location on Tyrol's largest lake make this course something special in many respects.

Zillertal Golf Club

The Uderns Golf Club is just 13 km or a 15-minute drive from our hotel. Opened in 2014, the brand-new golf course offers everything a golfer's heart desires on 65 hectares. Of course, there is a covered driving range and several golf pros who are happy to help you improve your swing directly on the golf course.

A whistling locomotive, hissing and steaming valves, pounding pistons: that's the Achenseebahn. A ride on it is a romantic and unforgettable experience, starting at the Achensee train station in Jenbach, from where a steep mountain route leads up to the Achensee. Once there, you can take a stroll and enjoy wonderful views of Lake Achensee, and you can also take a round trip on the Achsensee steamboat.

The Schwaz silver mine (approx. 7km from our house) invites you on an adventure trip underground into the past. Schwaz silver and the resulting wealth were the reason for the visits and influx of renowned artists, architects and master builders to Schwaz and formed the basis for the rule of the Habsburg monarchy in the late Middle Ages. Experience a part of Central European history in the middle of the Silberberg - definitely worth a visit!
